Yes, Crystallization is natural and expected. Some people look forward to the crunch. Some prefer it in its more pourable state.
Simply put the jar in a water bath & gently warm honey.
Using a pot with trivet in the bottom, place honey jar on trivet and fill with water to the height of the remaining honey crystals in the jar. Remove the lid off the honey jar (to prevent pressure build up) and gently heat until honey returns to its liquid state. Recap and store at room temp.
No trivet? Use mason jar rings or some clean pebbles or anything heat safe to keep honey jar off the bottom of the pot and prevent burning the honey or melting/cracking the container
To maintain it's raw qualities, do not heat honey over 118F
Yes, our bees and their hives are all located on or within 1 mile of the farm for majority of the year, with occassional pollination excursions within 100 miles of the farm and all honey is harvested and bottled at the farm.
Honey typically cannot be certified organic in most of Florida, due to the range the bees fly to collect nectar (forage), which is 3 mile radius.
Some items are seasonal and as a small farm, our quantities are limited.
